2. Data Collected by This Website

This website does not collect any personal data from visitors. Specifically:

No cookies are set by us.
No analytics or tracking scripts are loaded.
No user accounts exist on this website.
No IP addresses or browsing behavior are stored by us.

Standard access logs may be kept by the web hosting provider as part of server infrastructure. These are outside our control and are not used for any purpose by us.

2.1 Embedded video (YouTube)

Some pages show a still image of our explainer video. The video itself is not loaded with the page: nothing is requested from YouTube or Google until you click play.

When you click play, your browser connects to YouTube, operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). YouTube then receives your IP address together with browser and device information, and may store information on your device. If you are signed in to a Google account at that moment, the playback can be assigned to that account. We use the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com, which limits this to what is needed for playback.

Legal basis: your consent, given by clicking play (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withhold it simply by not starting the video, and the page works without it. Data may be transferred to the United States on the basis of Google's standard contractual clauses. What Google does with the data is described in Google's privacy policy; we have no access to it.

2.2 Contact form

The contact form asks for your name, your e-mail address and your message. A simple arithmetic question protects the form against automated submissions; your answer to it is not stored.

What you enter is sent to us by e-mail. It is not written to a database and not stored on this website. We use it solely to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); where the enquiry concerns a contract or a subscription, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies.

Retention: we delete the e-mail six months after the matter is settled, unless statutory retention periods require us to keep it longer. Your message is never used for advertising and is not passed on to third parties.

Please note that e-mail is transported over the internet and cannot be assumed to be confidential. Do not send passwords, payment details or health information through this form.
